Métis Teaching & Learning

for the Benefit of All

The Rupertsland Teaching and Learning Community is Rupertsland Institute’s (RLI) online educational community space inviting educators, learners, and the Métis community to learn alongside one another in Métis ways of being.

 

We combine modern course delivery with authentic Métis learning, finding ways to support educators, students, and community, while sharing important resources.

 

RLI is an affiliate of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, supporting official Métis curriculum and support in Alberta.

Our courses are designed by leaders in Métis education with Métis knowledge holders to invite everyone to learn more about Métis ways of knowing and kiyokewin (visiting).

Our public courses are free, synchronous and asynchronous, both in-person and online.
